deathanddumb:

So I caught up with two of the most gorgeously talented french boys I know, Stéphane and Julien. Better known to most as EXTERFACE. An incredibly talented duo who manage to capture all things good in the world, Sexy boys and sexy naked boys! As part of the Death and Dumb competition we have some awesome goodies from EXTERFACE to give away. I am so jealous of the winner!
Well known for creating some of the most rich and luscious… In fact fuck it! There is no point trying to exsplain what these guys do! Just see how fucking incredibly talented they are HERE.
The one thing I love the most about these guys, more than their looks, or their exceptional talent is the fact they are really, really genuinely two of the nicest, politest guys you could ever come across. I love them! And so should you!
Hit it boys!

My gorgeous boys! How are you?Hi Mr. Handsome. We’re very good! Ready for a family holiday in the south of France, near Avignon… We love this house so much, so peaceful, lovely and resourceful. Now anyone who is a fan of Death and Dumb, I’m almost certain is a fan of yours. But for those unlucky few tell us a little bit about yourselves and about EXTERFACE. Not sure about that but that’s so sweet of you! Well Exterface is the photographic studio that we (Stéphane & Julien), two french guys, created about 10 years ago. We’ve been known for producing poetic, surreal and fearless stories in pictures. Some gently called us the spiritual sons of Pierre & Gilles. We’re obsessed with the male form, love to elevate men as timeless and sensual icons. We think there’s nothing wrong about being sexy when you have a dick, even a big one.As you know im a HUGE fan of yours. i just love how your work is so sexy and yet so glamorous. Guilt free filth! After all its art! What inspires you?WOW thanks a lot! We’re very much inspired by classical art, mythology, symbolism, romanticism, the 18th century pastels… Science fiction movies, Disney, fashion photographers such as Steven Klein or Steven Meisel, the 70’s, Tom of Finland drawings… We just love to go and visit french castles, each time this is a very inspiring experience for us! Lately we’ve been to the Chantilly castle, like a hour away from Paris, we had a blast! Horses, a little hamlet, the authentic whipped cream (la crème Chantilly), marble, paintings, pastels, statues… Everything is so artistically strong, wrong too, but in a fabulous way.Why the name Exterface? When we first started expressing ourselves in photography, we wanted to have a name that would combine the two of us. We didn’t want to go for a blend “Julien & Stéphane”, even though some people may know us that way… So we were thinking about a word that would translate the idea of exteriorizing the inner beauty, the story of our model. That name is kind of the opposite of interface. It’s about making something shine and glow on the outside. Outside of the model, and also outside of the picture itself. In a way that it can reach the public eye… Funny because at this time we were at a very early stage of our artistic process, so that was a sort of prophecy of what was coming next in a way. Truth is the more Exterface evolves and grows, the more the name itself is accurate to what we do. If that makes sense! You have photographed some ridiculously hot guys. Like seriously fucking hot. Do you ever just want to jump their bones?Yes we’ve been blessed. And selective! Actually one of the Exterface drives must be the whole excitement that we’re feeling when we’re working. We remember Tom of Finland saying that if a drawing wasn’t giving him a boner, that wasn’t a good one. We think that’s very true! Now be honest… Have you ever had a cheeky wank over any of the pics you’ve taken?Yes we had! And we’re not the only ones, we got tons of comments and emails as testimonies. Have you?Has a shoot ever resulted in anything fruity happening?!(I’m totally just sat her fantasising now! Hahaha)Well, that’s part of the fantasy as you said! So let’s keep it that way…Do u ever get nervous about a shoot?Definitely! There’s always a sort of tension going on, a good one of course! We’re perfectionist and passionate so we always have great expectations to what we do, for us and of course from our model. You’ve photographed François Sagat the most gorgeous man in the world. I imagine photographing someone like him is so much fun. He’s such a blank canvas and so adaptable. Was it fun to work with him? We’ve got a huge load of admiration and love for François. He’s beautiful, smart and so creative. He can do anything! The whole package. ICON.Is he as amazing in real life as he is in my head? I bet he smells nice. Does he smell nice?!He is amazing. What’s even more amazing about him is that he’s SO sweet and funny. They all want him to smell like leather and lust but he smells like a baby! How did it feel when you first saw one of your ideas come to life?!That must have been a mixture of excitement and doubt. As we’ve never been trained to become photographers, though we don’t really see ourselves that way, it took us a while to feel legitimate in what we do.What’s your most proudest achievement? The whole Exterface story. That’s our story. Can’t wait for the next chapters…So we’re going to do a shoot together this year at some point. Why me?!YES! Amazing right?! First you’re an inspiring character! We love your style, your universe. You’re incredibly beautiful, we’re dying for those cat’s eyes that you have. And also because you’re a gifted showman, you’ve got attitude, confidence and assets. We want to celebrate all of that, in its full glory…If you were to win over my heart (as I’m such a hopeless romantic, and you are after all French!) what would you do, where would you take me?We would take you to the Chantilly castle. We will taste some Chantilly cream over fresh raspberries and strawberry tarts, warm sun on our happy faces, the 3 of us seating in that cute little hamlet, surrounded by grass and daisies, near the lake, near the horses… Romantic and French. :DWhat are you top 5 prize possessions?Steven Klein monographs / Jeremy Scott sneakers / Apple mania / Juicer-Blender combo / Disney Dolls Animators collection. Not in a specific order but it says a lot about us.3 things you look for in a dream Man?A tight muscled body. Body hair. Gray costume. Damn!So you’re a fan of my blog?Obviously, that’s a stupid question. When did you first discover Death and Dumb?Tumblr does wonder sometimes… Thank you God of Reblog! What is it you like about my blog and what is it that keeps you coming back for more?!It’s sassy, colorful, raw, well-thought… Not to mention the pictures of you.
Oh you guys! Thank you so much *Blows kisses!*

Fab.com Pop-Up Shop: Unicorn Print on Fab.Fab.comThis mythical creature is legendary for his musculature, staggering virility and large, highly coveted protrusion. We speak, of course, of the unicorn. The Unicorn Print by Exterface (in collaboration with model David Mason) is an intoxicating orgy of flesh and fetish, featuring an almost insultingly hot man trussed up like the most erotic woodland creature in all the land. Ride ‘em, cowboy.

Fab.com Pop-Up Shop: Juvénile Ardeur on Fab.Fab.comThe Juvénile Arduer Print by Exterface is a visual paean to the ‘70s: the Tom of Finland mustache, the tight Jockey briefs and the leather cap clenched defiantly at his side. Buff, beautiful and almost baring it all, gorgeous model Matthieu demonstrates how youth is not, in fact, wasted on the young. Someone should take this street tough home.
